In recent years Drifting has become more popular within Europe, following the motorsport trends of Japan and in 2006 courtesy of GT Battle, the first professional Drift Championship was held at premier locations around the UK in a 5 point-scoring event line-up which has left the aftermarket and racing industry gasping for more.
